The best document management apps for 2017

Having the right apps on your phone can be of utmost importance when it comes down to making quick calls and decisions. With new apps, programs and formats coming out faster than ever, it is about time to introduce you to a set of new apps that will surely fit your needs when you are faced with a variety of productivity apps!

But, before we get to the apps themselves, let’s take some common office problems into consideration, and try to find the answer by finding the best app for that situation. Email communication has been one of the major reasons why today we all have Gmail accounts and often rely on our phone and/or tablet to keep us updated when we are away from our keyboard. Gmail app is listed as an essential app on the AppStore, so if Apple tells you it is you better believe so! Gmail is used by more than a billion people, and you should too! But, sheer numbers aren’t the only thing to take into consideration as you’ll see a bit down the line.

Since a couple years ago we’ve seen that cloud services such as Dropbox and Google Drive have been on the rise given that their integration into other mobile apps has been an enormous success. These services are there to help you store files or perhaps move them between device. In the beginning Dropbox was basically a storage box for you to keep files in, but now it’s so much more.

While the app market is still dominated by tech giants such as Windows and Google, there are still sprouts of greatness from smaller companies such as Cometdocs. This Canadian based company has recently released one of the best PDF apps for handling hard to edit files. PDF Converter Ultimate will change the way you view editing these files. While this app has 6 different ways to import files, and supports over a dozen of different formats, it is not its features that stun as much as its efficiency. Once you start your conversion the file is instantly sent to the Cometdocs servers and then a few moments later downloaded back to your phone. Use it to convert PDFs and Images to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, AutoCAD and other formats and edit your new files with ease!

On occasion you might find yourself needing a text editor, and if you do find yourself in such an occasion make sure you give Notebook a try. Zoho Notebooks will enable you to take notes, create checklists, record your voice, and several other things. All your notes are instantly synced across your devices and to the cloud which makes it easier to handle your files. While its usefulness is undoubtedly high, the user interface Notebook brings to the table is even more impressive.

How often do you make overseas work related phone calls? If this is something you do very often you might consider switching from your phone to a web-based phone app, such as Viber. This app allows you to call and text your friends overseas for free, as long as you have internet connection. Understandably, both you and your friend are supposed to have the app because it won’t work if you have it only on one end. Organizing meetings and conference calls has never been easier!

In the end it comes down to…productivity!

Every year we get a slew of new apps that tend to become good enough to replace the old ones, but the truth is this – sometimes it is good to stick to old things, things we know. That is why it’s up to you to make choices for yourself because only you know which apps fit you best. However, given our extensive technological knowledge and expertise, we believe you may benefit from the above mentioned apps, so head out to your nearest Appstore and let us know what you think!
