This Cheap And Simple Technology Would Literally Save The World

Holy tap dancing Teslas, you guys. If you thought the Tesla Model S (check out what happens when you push a Model S to the limit here) was the technology of the future and that it was going to save the world, you’re half right. It is and and probably will.

But there’s a new Indiegogo campaign that features technology that might LITERALLY save the world. I don’t use that term lightly.

This new technology is called ‘solar roadways’ which, in a nutshell, are hexagonal panels that use fancy technology and solar panels that are designed to replace pavement. Seriously, that’s crazy.

Imagine a world where you no longer have to drive on pavement, potholes, or pay for electricity. This new technology would literally save the planet – even if you continue to drive your Hummer H2 over it while throwing flaming gas cans out the window.

If you want to see this technology become a reality, check out the Indiegogo campaign here.
