Digital technology has taken bullying out of the school playground and, potentially, into the pockets and bags of every child with they own phone, tablet or laptop.
The nature of cyber-bullying is difficult to measure. Is it another manifestation of the same bullying patterns we see in the ‘real world’? Is it just another instrument of torture? Or is it a new kind of attack, and what are the consequences – for the victims and for the possibilities of unmasking the perpetrators?
