The best mind-mapping apps

Some people are visually kind of people. Not only can they can read maps, they can create maps. Their best ideas come out of visualisations that they can create on paper or screen.

The rest of us mere mortals just have to rely on either someone else doing that mapping for us (ideal), or having an app or tool that does it for us (just as useful and far more likely).

These are the tools deigned to help out – to put that idea centre of a visualisation of associated ideas, pictures, words, and outcomes all splay out. Making you understand your thoughts better.

this list was done for a conference last year, but remains a damn fine summary of the best things out there.
